Children's Ministry

Welcome to the Children’s Ministry Page at Central London Church!

The mission of the Children’s Ministry at Central London can be summarized in Jesus’ advice when He calls us to: “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the Kingdom of God belongs to such as these” – Luke 18: 16.

Our department aims to shine into our children’s consciousness the beauty and benefit of walking with Christ. We lead our children in appropriate and engaging Bible study, and how to serve others and setting a Christ-like personal example.

Our fallible human nature can be discouraging to ourselves and others, however, this should give us even more reason to come to Jesus – this should be an incentive to allow our children to learn of the good ways through the life of Jesus. Jesus is our only Way, Truth and Hope in this world!

We currently have at Central London Church over thirty children of different ages and varied backgrounds – the Primary Class (ages 5-9); the Power Point class (ages 10-12); and the Early Teens (ages 13-14). They are our joy and blessing!

We have a dedicated team of workers that organises and teaches Children Sabbath School classes, prepare and direct programs.

Our children take part in the main worship service alongside our pastor and the worship team, perform special musical items and read Bible verses for the congregation. We also have socials, where our families and teachers share some good moments, play games and enjoy each other’s company.

We are growing in the knowledge and grace of God through this ministry. One of our goals is to provide children and their families with the experience serving our local community: visiting nursing homes, taking part in fundraising, etc. We believe that God has a special plan for every single one of us and our doors are always open to those who would like to serve God through working with children.
